About Hunter
Hunter is a native Texan, born in Richmond Texas. He attended Texas A&M University where he received his undergraduate degree in Agriculture Development and during his time at A&M he was a proud member of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets. After graduating in 2001, Hunter spent four years on active duty in the U.S. Army as an Armor Officer. During his military service, Hunter was deployed to Iraq for one year, where he served as a Tank Platoon Leader and Company Executive Officer. Hunter was also deployed to New Orleans immediately after Hurricane Katrina.
After his time in the military, Hunter attended Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, now Texas A&M University School of Law. During law school he had the privilege to serve as an associate editor of the law review and graduated fourth in his class.
Since receiving his license to practice law in 2009, Hunter has practiced in the area of family law and received his Board Certification in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 2018.
Hunter has represented countless clients in the most challenging of family law matters.
Additionally, Hunter has served as attorney ad litem for children in cases involving CPS. He has the unique understanding of the family court system.
