Hey folks, Mark Scroggins with Scroggins Law Group and before we get into these Q and A’s want to remind everybody that this is just providing a general answer to questions that are posed by our listenership and viewership out there. So at no time does that create an attorney client relationship between you and me, or between you and any member of Scroggins Law Group. So I hope these questions are good for you and answer some of the questions that you got. The next question we get is, is quote unquote, child centered divorce really a thing? Well, argument can be made, that every divorce is a child centered divorce, because in Texas, everything is based on the best interest of the child. All right. Now, does that term child centered divorce exists anywhere? In the Texas Family Code? No, it does not. Okay. So, is that a thing? Is it something where you should really consider everything that a child wants? The answer is going to be no, that that is not something that is done in Texas, and the question becomes one, really, they’re from a standpoint of psychology or psychiatry, of whether or not that would even be appropriate. So if you have those questions, reach out, talk to your attorney about it. But the general answer on that is going to be no it doesn’t exist.
